Mr. Covington, who specializes in the Revolutionary War years, will give a presentation on the life and achievements of George Washington. Uniformed as a Continental soldier, Mr. Covington will display and demonstrate the weapons, clothing and equipment of the common fighters of the Revolutionary War who succeeded in winning our independence from Great Britain. This promises to be a very informative and entertaining event.
The public is welcome! The DAR and Van Zandt County Genealogical Society encourage all to attend.
